About the Business
Founded in 1990 as Drummond House Developments to acquire and develop residential estates in the South East, the Drummonds Group has grown over the years and expanded its range of activities.
As the demand for low cost housing became more apparent, the company became involved in social housing and other innovative forms of providing homes, later expanding into the rental sector by founding Drummonds Property Rentals. In 2007 the Drummonds Group further expanded its activities in the service sector by establishing Drummonds Medical to provide Healthcare. This was an opportunity to extend the scope of the service and management skills within the group whilst maintaining a strong position in housing.
After a successful three years however the board felt that it was time to refocus on the company's core business and Drummonds Medical was sold as a going concern to one of the UK's leading Healthcare plcs.
