About the Business
Dulwich Village and environs enjoy an arguably unique location in London: trees, fields, ancient woods and even an 18-hole golf course, yet only a little over 4 miles from Whitehall.
Properties range from splendid detached period residences with substantial land to small1 - 2 bedroom flats but all those in the Village come under the auspices of the Dulwich College Estate, under whom standards are strictly maintained.
There are plenty of local amenities. Dulwich Park is perhaps best remembered for Queen Mary making her annual visit to see the spectacular rhododendrons and azaleas and the flowers remain in all their glory today. The world famous Art Gallery is Britain's oldest public gallery. It has recently undergone a face-lift and houses a magnificent collection of old masters, as well as housing regular specialist exhibitions. Further up the road from the gallery is London's last remaining tollgate, with the original tolls displayed on a board at the side of the road.
