About the Business
I am very pleased with the service I have received from lettings-r-us. After having my house on the market for over 3 months with another lettings company, lettings-r-us managed to find me some fantastic tenants in less than 24 hours. The rent and tenants were exactly what I wanted and the staff are very helpful and friendly, I am really satisfied, I would certainly recommend them to any friends looking to become a landlord.
Many thanks to Lettings-r-us for making my career, life change and move form Andover to Frome smooth and efficient. Setting me up with the place to live and work. Would strongly recommend to anyone else.

If I could leave zero stars I would. After seeing this property online, I contacted and due to the Covid-19 situation did a video tour of the property. I was advised that any issues would be resolved before I moved in as the landlord was doing up the place. No major issues were brought to my attention and I took it on the good faith of this agency and their staff the property was in good condition. I collected the keys and on arriving at the property discovered numerous issues. I was appalled at the state of the apartment when I arrived. The walls dirty, carpets in a state, the kitchen was dirty and when I opened the cupboards the shelves are rotting and filthy, there was also a used toilet brush in one of the cupboards. The handle falls off the toilet and the hole in the bathroom sink is rusted and green. There was a wardrobe left here and a random filthy shelf and a dirty stained rug. The radiators are rusty. The front window is in a very bad way which means my heating bill will be higher. The apartment front door plinth is not even attached and comes away and the door lock is loose. The kickboard at the bottom of the kitchen cupboards I have had to use duct tape to stop it falling off. The kitchen hob is rusted. After many angry phones, I was told that I was to call the carpet fitter and arrange for them to be changed. After speaking with the carpet fitter he advised that he had viewed the apartment 3 months ago and given the recommendation that all carpets needed to be changed before letting the apartment. However, changing the carpets is not going to happen for a few weeks so I have had to buy rugs to cover the carpeting. I was also advised that I would have an allocated parking space which I have still not been informed of, it was not provided in the welcome pack and the agent dealing with me doesn't know which is mine and advised me to email to get someone to ask the landlord. The same issue is with the bins downstairs and not knowing which are mine and the agent also not knowing. I was told to email a list of my complaints and it would be reviewed by a manager. Which I did and I was informed that it is essentially not their problem and that I need to resolve the issue with the landlord as they are "repairs and maintenance" issues despite all of these issues being present when I arrived on Monday after the apartment was reviewed by the agency on Sunday. At present, it seems apparent that the agency took advantage of the Covid-19 situation in order to place a tenant in a sub-par property and are now shirking that responsibility. I am absolutely appalled at the service provided.
