About the Business
We started 10 years ago in Skelmersdale, then of course it was only LFS Estate Agents, but was quickly expanded to include Lathom Financial Services (to give mortgage and insurance advice). LFS Property Management came next when a client asked us to rent a property for him as he was going abroad for a year. In 2005 we decided that we were ready to continue our expansion programme. In august 2006 we bought the oldest established independent estate agent in our area, Martyn Meade & Staff. This has proven to be a perfect fit, as we now cover the whole of West Lancashire including Ormskirk, Skelmersdale, Aughton, Burscough and all the areas in postcodes L39, L40 and WN8. It has also allowed us to expand our advertising with properties now being advertised in both our Ormskirk and Skelmersdale Estate Agency branches. We also advertise on both Rightmove and Zoopla websites and through the local newspapers The Ormskirk and Skelmersdale Advertiser.
